Glaze
Our iceberg glaze is a white glaze with tints of blue and lilac. Where applied thin it becomes translucent and because of the white clay underneath it will show a bit more streaks. The white becomes less pronounced and as a result the other colors will dominate more.
General
All our pottery is handmade. As a result the actual items you will receive will be slightly different. There may be slight deviations in form and or color due to the multi-step process that ultimately makes each item unique.
As a maker I embrace this uniqueness rather than deliberately trying to make each item as identical as possible. If you are not comfortable with this, I suggest looking at our WYSIWYG items. They are “ what you see is what you get “ so you’ll know you get exactly what is shown in the pictures.
These items are food safe and dishwasher safe. It should be noted however that a dishwasher is a harsh environment so handwashing is still the best option.

This is a stock item. It will usually be shipped within a couple days after placing your order.

We allow backorders for this item. Please keep in mind that:
- It may take up to eight (8) weeks for backorders to be ready for shipping.
- Once we process your order we will send you an email to inform you about the estimated shipping date.
- If you want to combine stock items and backorder items, the stock items will be put on hold until everything is ready for shipping. In other words, orders will be shipped together. If you prefer to receive your stock items immediately please make two separate orders.
